Q: How do we get to Doylestown? How do we get around Bucks County?

If you have a car, parking during the day should be simple in Doylestown and manageable (with a little patience) in New Hope.  At the ceremony itself, there will be plenty of free parking in museum-adjacent lots, though obviously we don't recommend driving anywhere if you plan to drink. Also, just a reminder that entrance to the museum is through the main lobby facing Green Street and Scout Way, rather than the original doors onto Pine Street.

For those who won't have cars, there are a few good options both to reach Bucks County and to get around once you've arrived:

  • From New York, Trans-Bridge Lines offers direct (approx. 2 hour) coach bus services from a variety of NYC and Airport stops to New Hope and Doylestown for $50 round trip.

  • From Philadelphia, SEPTA runs trains to Doylestown (approx. 1.25 hours) for $10 round trip.

  • Within the immediate area, Uber and Lyft are available (as well as a few local taxi companies), and they should be able to get you between towns and wherever you are staying at a reasonable rate, without too much difficulty or delay.

Q: Where can we spend the night?

There are a number of airbnb and small bed and breakfast properties located in the wider Bucks County area, but for historic hotels located in walkable downtown centers, we recommend the Logan Inn in New Hope and the Doylestown Inn in Doylestown.  Please be aware that both inns have a limited number of rooms and may have minimum stay requirements in the summertime; we've made no special arrangement with their management to hold rooms or guarantee special rates to wedding guests.

As a more general option, we recommend the Doylestown Homewood Suites, located approx. 8 minutes by car from the wedding venue and approx. 20-25 minutes from New Hope.

Please email us with any questions or requests for recommendations and we'll do our very best to help.  We've booked an airbnb near New Hope (in Stockton, NJ) for ourselves and will be based there from Friday to Sunday morning; our general plan is to be in and around New Hope/Lambertville from Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon, and then in Doylestown from Saturday afternoon onwards.

Q: Is anything happening the night before the wedding?

For any guests who will be in Bucks County on the evening of Friday the 21st (or who are deciding when to arrive): we've reserved space on the patio at the Logan Inn, on Ferry Street in downtown New Hope, for drinks starting around 9:30.  Rumor has it there will be fire pits and s'mores, and we'd love to see you there.

Q: Is there a dress code?

Nope! But unless you arrive in a top hat with kid gloves and a monocle, we promise that you won't be overdressed.

Q: Do you have a registry?

Yes. You can access it here.

For anyone who wants to  coordinate rides, rooms or anything else with other guests, we created a private event page on Facebook where you can make arrangements directly amongst yourselves.  Please let us know if you can't access it!
